Rail & Construction Management Team Leader
Kory Taylor joined MULTATECH in 2018 as an experienced leader with extensive knowledge in the field of surface transportation, freight, passenger, and commuter rail, public infrastructure, and transportation economic development projects. Kory spent the first 15 years of his career at a Class 1 railroad managing rail design and construction projects of all types, including line expansion, grade separations, tank and DTL fueling facilities and platforms, customer projects, velocity/efficiency projects, and automotive and intermodal facility design and construction. As a consultant, Kory has been an integral part of the design team for designing, constructing, and delivering rail, track, commuter, and construction management projects for BNSF, UPRR, DART, TEXRail, City of Fort Worth, industrial, manifest, and unit train facilities all over Texas and the south central Unites States.
Kory earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas. His projects have received multiple awards for both rail innovation, regional and national recognition for rail solutions from AREMA and ASCE, and twice received Employee of the Year awards for facility innovation and safety recognition. Kory is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (member of Committee 6), North American Maintenance Railway Club, National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association, Construction Management Association of America – North Texas Chapter, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
