MULTATECH provided architectural and engineering services for a new, ground-up, BMW dealership. The design included a 17,673 square foot showroom, 17,396 square foot service area and 7,545 square feet of parts storage. The showroom was designed according to BMW’s new “highway” design standards and includes administrative, sales and clerical office areas as well as break rooms and restrooms. The service area consists of 22 service bays, five detailing bays and five programming bays, as well as an employee locker area, technician break rooms and restrooms. The parts storage area has two levels and is served by a material handling lift which services the customer and technician parts counters. The scope of work included HVAC and water system designs, as well as indoor and outdoor lighting controls and systems for the entire property. We also provided construction administration services.
MULTATECH provided a design based on the sustainable criteria from the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) to obtain LEED (Leadership in Environmental Design) certification. BMW Tucson has received LEED Silver certification, AutoNation’s second LEED-certified dealership.
