MULTATECH assisted with the establishment of a Quiet Zone, in accordance with the new Train Horn Rules, as defined by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) for the Retirement Corporation of America. Our services included assisting with the assembly of a Railroad Diagnostic Team, whose report proposed equipment to be used to establish a Quiet Zone. MULTATECH provided schematic plans, a description of necessary equipment and assisted with the approval process through the City of Fort Worth. We also assisted with the application for required railroad permits, obtained approval from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and certified and approved that the plans were in accordance with FRA regulations and the Diagnostic Team’s recommendations.
