MULTATECH provided design and power for several new boilers with water treatment/reverse osmosis systems for ten buildings on the main Texas A&M campus. We also coordinated the disconnection of these buildings from the existing central plant system. Two greenhouses were removed from the steam loop and replaced with natural gas heat. The remaining buildings remained connected to the existing central plant. The system was re-designed with 20 PSI steam. The design included the demolition of a 150 PSI line, four pressure reducing stations and two evaporators in the central plant. The project also included survey, civil and electrical design plans and profile for a new 7,500 linear foot 24E6 medium voltage electrical duct bank serving the Texas A&M Main campus. The project design scope included 17- 12 feet by 12 feet by 9 feet vaults with several custom vault designs, 2,800 linear feet of street replacement, and a campus Live Oak Preservation plan.
MULTATECH was a sub-consultant for Jacobs Engineering.
