DFW International Airport Glycol Piping System Terminal A & Terminal C
DFW Airport, Texas
The Glycol Piping System Project is part of the Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program (TRIP) currently underway at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The project includes the extension and redistribution of the Glycol piping systems for Terminals A and C. Services include extensive coordination and verification of design parameters and requirements with DFW Central Utility Plant personnel as well as logistical piping routing verification and coordination with the TRIP design team.
The existing glycol system is currently undersized for the new airplane precondition air units and passenger boarding bridge cooling systems. Currently in the design phase, the scope of work includes the demolition of existing glycol headers and establishing new larger glycol headers throughout Terminals A & C while maintaining gate operations. The project also includes rerouting existing branch lines at each gate and connecting lines to the new headers.
MULTATECH has been providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering and construction management services as a sub-consultant to Jacobs, TRIP Project Management team.
